My family law practice is devoted to helping clients resolve their disputes in a respectful, non-adversarial manner without going to court. I protect my clients’ legal rights but do so in a manner that is non-confrontational and emphasizes finding mutually beneficial solutions for the whole family. My approach promotes a cooperative relationship between spouses so they can continue to co-parent or resolve issues after the divorce is over. As an additional benefit, a non-adversarial approach saves the typical client thousands of dollars in legal fees.
As an additional component to my practice, I handle matrimonial appeals. I have significant experience and a high success rate in this complex area of matrimonial law.

COLLABORATIVE LAW In a collabortive process, both spouses are repesented by their own attorneys. The parties and attorneys work together to find mutually beneficial solutions. When appropriate, financial and mental health professionals are added to the collaborative team. More. |
MEDIATION In mediation, both spouses work jointly with a neutral who assists them in resolving all issues. Mediation works best where the parties are able to work together and when there is an equal knowledge of income and assets. More. |
APPEALS When a client is unhappy with a trial court decision, they have the right to appeal. Appellate practice is complex and few attorneys have experience in this area. I have substantial appellate experience and have a high rate of success. |
